HOLOS is an integrated residential and holistic wellness center community on over 200 acres of lush jungle, rolling hills and breathtaking waterfalls in the Diamante Valley region of Costa Rica.
The Ridge Basecamp is nestled on the highest ridgetop overlooking all of HOLOS with breathtaking 360 views of the Diamante Valley and the tallest waterfall in Costa Rica, the Diamante Falls. Come stay in one of our beautiful glamping nests.

Please note that we do not offer hospitality stays during dates we host retreats, thus, stays are limited throughout the year.

Neighborhood Overview
Located within the village of San Salvador in the Diamante Valley, The Ridge is centrally located with easy access from Tinamastes along Route 243 or from the coastal towns of Uvita and Dominical through
Escaleras Road.
Driving Times:
• From San José: 3.5 hours
• From Quepos: 1h 15 minutes
• From Tinamaste: 20 minutes
• From San Isidro: 45 minutes
• From Dominical 40 minutes
• From Uvita: 50 minutes
Local Attractions:
• Local Markets: Check out the several markets in the area, referred to locally as “ferias” - Uvita on Wednesdays and Saturdays; Tinamaste on Tuesdays; Dominical on Fridays.
• Manuel Antonio National Park: Home to monkeys, sloths and white-sand beaches, about 30 minutes from Quepos.
• Nauyaca Waterfall: The largest waterfall by volume in Costa Rica. Great for a half-day excursion. Just 5 minutes
• Reptilandia Park: A reptile park and botanical garden, 30 minutes drive.
• Surfing: Learn to surf at one of the stunning beaches in the area.
• Beaches: Countless beaches to enjoy within a 30-45 minute drive, including Playa Hermosa, Playa Dominical, Playa Dominicalito and Playa Linda.
• Horseback Riding: Experience horseback riding tours on the beach and in the jungle.
• Corcovado National Park: Located in the Osa Peninsula, take advantage of exploring one of the most biodiverse places in the world, just a 3-hour drive.
• Whale Watching: The Marino Ballena National Park in the heart of Uvita, within an hour, is one of the best places in the world for whale watching.
• Fishing: Sport fishing is a popular attraction by locals and tourists, alike. The Osa Peninsula has some of the best blue water fishing in Costa Rica.
Getting Around
Parking is available on-site for up to 2 vehicles.
Please note that SUV´s or 4x4 vehicles are recommended due to the gravel roads and potentially slippery surfaces, especially during rainy weather.
House Rules
- Please be carefull while driving, try to avoid driving at night.
- You should not smoke inside the tents. Additional cleaning fees will apply to remove odor and stains.
- Kitchen utensils: after using them, please wash all dishes and utensils that were used.
- Don't rearrange our furniture.
- Parties and events are prohibited on this property.
- All guests must be identified, and it is not allowed to exceed the capacity.
